3. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before using the Surker grooming kit to prevent injury or damage to the device.

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Use caution when operating near eyes and ears.
  • Do not use on injured or irritated skin.
  • Clean and disinfect blades after each use to prevent infection.
  • Do not immerse the entire unit in water. Only the cutter head is washable.

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the grooming kit. The device features a built-in rechargeable battery with an LED display indicating the remaining battery percentage.

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the bottom of the trimmer unit.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, laptop, USB wall adapter, power bank).
  3. The LED display will show charging progress. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours and provides up to 180 minutes of runtime.

4.2 Attaching and Detaching Trimmer Heads

The Surker grooming kit comes with multiple detachable trimmer heads for various grooming tasks.

  1. To attach a head: Align the head with the main unit and gently push until it clicks into place.
  2. To detach a head: Hold the main unit firmly and pull the attached head upwards away from the unit.

4.3 Attaching Guide Combs

Guide combs are used to achieve desired hair lengths.

  1. Select the appropriate guide comb for your desired length.
  2. Align the comb with the teeth of the trimmer head.
  3. Slide the comb onto the trimmer head until it securely locks into position.
  4. To remove, gently lift the comb from the back and slide it off.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 General Operation

  1. Ensure the desired trimmer head and guide comb (if needed) are securely attached.
  2. Press the ON/OFF button to power on the device. The LED display will illuminate.
  3. Hold the trimmer at a comfortable angle and move it against the direction of hair growth for best results.
  4. After use, press the ON/OFF button to power off the device.

5.2 Specific Trimmer Head Usage

  • T-Blade Trimmer / Hair Clipper: Use for precise lines, edging, and general hair cutting. For zero-gapped cuts, use without a guide comb.

  • Nose/Ear Hair Trimmer: Gently insert the trimmer tip into the nostril or ear canal. Move in a circular motion to trim unwanted hair. Do not insert too deeply.
  • Micro Shaver: For a close, smooth finish on small areas like cheeks or necklines. Hold flat against the skin and move in short, gentle strokes.
  • Precision Trimmer: Ideal for intricate designs, shaping beards, or creating sharp lines. Use with precision and care.

  • Beard Trimmer: Use with appropriate guide combs to maintain beard length. For shaping, use without a comb.
  • Body Trimmer: For grooming body hair. Use with or without guide combs depending on desired length.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your grooming kit.

6.1 Cleaning

  • After each use, turn off the trimmer and detach the cutter head.
  • Use the provided cleaning brush to remove hair clippings from the blades and the trimmer head.
  • Important: Only the cutter head is washable. DO NOT immerse the entire clipper in running water or any liquid.
  • Rinse the detached cutter head under running water to remove any remaining debris.
  • Allow the cutter head to air dry completely before reattaching it to the main unit or storing.

6.2 Blade Care

For best cutting performance, periodically apply a small drop of clipper oil (not included) to the blades. Turn on the trimmer for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly.

6.3 Battery Preservation

To preserve the life of the Lithium-Ion battery, it is recommended to let the battery run out completely every six months and then charge it for 2 hours.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Surker grooming kit, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
