Operating and Gameplay

The objective of Happy Worms is to arrange the wooden worm pieces to perfectly match the outline shown on the current challenge page in the spiral task book.

  1. Understand the Challenge: Each page in the spiral book presents a unique outline. Your goal is to fill this outline completely using the available worm pieces.
  2. Placement Rules:
    • All worm pieces must lie flat within the boundaries of the template.
    • The faces drawn on the worm pieces must always be visible and not covered by other pieces.
    • Pieces can be stacked on top of each other to create multiple layers, especially in higher difficulty levels. Ensure that no vacant holes are left beneath a stacked piece.
    • No pieces should extend beyond the black outline of the template.
  3. Solving the Puzzle: Experiment with different orientations and placements of the worm pieces until they fit the template exactly. The challenges progress in difficulty, requiring more complex arrangements and often multiple layers of worms.
  4. Checking Solutions: If you are stuck, the rulebook provides solutions for all 60 challenges. Refer to it only after attempting to solve the puzzle independently.
