4.2 Battery Installation and Removal

The Makita DUB187Z operates on an 18V LXT Lithium-Ion battery (not included). Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.

2. Hold the tool firmly. The integrated rollers at the end of the suction tube allow for easy guidance along the ground.
3. Press the trigger to start. Adjust the suction power using the control wheel. Engage the lockable switch for continuous operation.
4. Move the suction tube over leaves and light debris. The tool will collect and shred the material into the collection bag.
5. Empty the collection bag regularly to maintain optimal suction performance.
