1. Introduction

The PRUNUS XH-BC18-L Wireless Bike Speedometer and Odometer is designed to provide cyclists with essential riding data. This device features a large digital LCD screen for clear readability and a distinctive touch sensor for backlight activation, making it suitable for both day and night use. 3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to correctly set up your bike computer:

3.1. Battery Installation

Install the CR2032 batteries into both the cycling computer and the wireless sensor. Ensure the positive (+) pole of the battery faces upwards when inserting.

3.2. Wheel Circumference Setting

Accurate wheel circumference is crucial for precise speed and distance readings. After battery installation, the screen will display a default circumference (e.g., 2060). To change this, press and hold both buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. Use the right button to adjust the number and the left button to confirm. Refer to the table below or measure your wheel's circumference manually.

3.3. Mounting the Computer

Attach the handlebar mount to your bicycle using the provided zip ties. Ensure it is securely fastened and positioned for optimal viewing during your ride. The computer slides into the mount until it clicks into place.

3.4. Installing the Wireless Sensor and Magnet

Install the wireless sensor on the front fork of your bicycle using the provided zip ties. The magnet should be attached to a spoke on the wheel. Ensure the distance between the sensor and the magnet is no more than 3mm (0.1 inch) for accurate readings. The sensor should be positioned on the left side of the bicycle.

4. Operating Instructions

The PRUNUS XH-BC18-L offers a variety of functions to enhance your cycling experience. Use the left and right buttons on the device to navigate through modes and settings.

4.1. Basic Functions

  • SPD (Speedometer): Displays current speed.
  • ODO (Odometer): Tracks total distance traveled (0.001-99999km/m).
  • DST (Trip Distance): Records distance for the current trip.
  • MXS (Maximum Speed): Shows the highest speed achieved during the current trip.
  • AVS (Average Speed): Calculates the average speed for the current trip.
  • TM (Elapsed Time): Displays the duration of the current trip.
  • CLK (Clock): Shows time in 12H or 24H format.
  • Temperature: Displays current ambient temperature.
  • Calories: Estimates calories burned during the trip.
  • Fat Burned: Estimates fat burned during the trip.

4.2. Mode Switching and Data Reset

  • Press the RIGHT button to cycle through different display modes (e.g., ODO, DST, MXS, AVS, TM).
  • To reset trip data (DST, MXS, AVS, TM), hold the LEFT button for 3 seconds while in the desired trip mode.
  • The device features an automatic wake-up function. It will enter standby mode after a period of inactivity and automatically activate when motion is detected.
  • The backlight can be activated or deactivated with a slight touch on the designated sensor area.
