Programming Your Watering Schedule

Manual Watering ("OPEN" Function)
To manually water without affecting your programmed schedule, use the "OPEN" function.
- Press the button labeled "OPEN" or similar (refer to the specific button on your timer, often combined with ESC/OFF).
- The water will flow continuously until you press the button again to stop it, or until a pre-set manual duration expires (if applicable).
- This function is useful for quick tasks like filling a watering can or testing your system.
Pausing/Disabling Program
To temporarily pause or disable the watering program, press the "ESC/OFF" button. Press it again to resume the program.
Maintenance
- Cleaning the Filter: Periodically check and clean the removable metal filter located at the inlet connection. Remove the timer from the faucet, take out the filter, rinse it under running water to remove any debris, and reinsert it.
- Battery Replacement: When the battery indicator on the LCD shows low power, replace both AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.
- Winter Storage: Before the first frost, disconnect the timer from the faucet and drain any remaining water. Store the timer indoors in a dry, frost-free location. Remove batteries before long-term storage.
