4. Setup

Before starting the generator, perform the following setup steps:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the generator and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
  2. Add Engine Oil:
    • Place the generator on a level surface.
    • Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick.
    • Using the provided oil funnel, slowly add 0.35 liters of 10W30 engine oil.
    • Check the oil level with the dipstick; it should be at the upper mark. Do not overfill.
    • Securely replace the oil filler cap.
  3. Add Fuel:
    • Ensure the generator is off and cooled.
    • Open the fuel tank cap.
    • Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded petrol (gasoline). Do not use E85 or other alternative fuels.
    • Do not overfill; leave space for fuel expansion.
    • Securely close the fuel tank cap.
  4. Grounding: Connect a grounding wire (not included) from the generator's ground terminal to a suitable earth ground. This is crucial for safety.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting the Generator

  1. Ensure the generator is on a level surface and all electrical loads are disconnected.
  2. Turn the Fuel Switch (Multi-Switch) to the "START CHOKE" position.
  3. Grasp the recoil starter handle firmly and pull it slowly until resistance is felt, then pull quickly and smoothly.
  4. Once the engine starts, slowly move the Fuel Switch to the "RUN" position.
  5. Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes. The "Output Ready" indicator light should illuminate.

5.2 Connecting Electrical Devices

  • Ensure the "Output Ready" light is on before connecting devices.
  • Plug your 230V AC appliances into the AC 230V outlet.
  • Plug your 12V DC appliances into the DC 12V outlet.
  • Connect USB devices to the DC 5V USB ports.
  • Do not exceed the generator's rated wattage (1700W running, 1800W starting). If the "Overload" indicator illuminates, disconnect some devices.

5.3 Eco-Mode Operation

To conserve fuel and reduce noise during periods of low power demand, activate the Low Idle Switch (Eco-Mode). In Eco-Mode, the engine speed will automatically adjust to match the load, improving fuel efficiency.

5.4 Parallel Operation
