  1. Battery Installation: Gently pry open the call button casing (a small screwdriver may be needed). Insert the 23A12V battery, ensuring correct polarity. Close the casing securely.
  2. Mounting Options: Each call button comes with versatile mounting options:
    • Screw Mounting: Use the provided screws to attach the mounting bracket to a wall (e.g., in a bathroom or near a bed).
    • Adhesive Patch Mounting: Use the adhesive patch on the back of the bracket for quick, non-permanent attachment to smooth surfaces.
    • Lanyard: Attach the provided lanyard to wear the call button around the neck as a pendant. The lanyard features a breakaway safety design.
  3. Placement: Place call buttons in easily accessible locations where assistance might be needed, such as beside a bed, in a bathroom, or in common living areas.

  1. Battery Installation: Open the rear battery cover of the motion sensor. Insert 2 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Remove any insulating tabs if present. Close the cover.
  2. Mode Selection: On the front of the motion sensor, select the operating mode:
    • "SEND" Mode: The motion sensor will automatically transmit a signal to the pager upon detecting movement.
    • "PUSH" Mode: The motion sensor will only transmit a signal to the pager when the "BUTTON" is manually pressed.
    • "OFF" Mode: The motion sensor is turned off.
  3. Antenna: Extend the antenna for maximum range.

Operating Instructions

The SYNLETT Caregiver Pager System operates wirelessly, providing alerts to the caregiver's pager when a signal is received from a call button or the motion sensor.

Receiving Alerts

  • From Call Button: When the "Push for Help" button on a wireless call button is pressed, it sends a signal to the pager.
  • From Motion Sensor: If the motion sensor is set to "SEND" mode, it will automatically send a signal to the pager when it detects movement within its range. If set to "PUSH" mode, the button on the sensor must be pressed manually.

Pager Alert Indication

  • The pager will sound according to the selected alert mode ("DING DONG" or "ALARM").
  • The 3-color LED indicator on the pager will illuminate to help identify which device is calling. Each color (red, green, blue) represents a unique device or pair of devices, allowing for differentiation of alerts.
  • When the pager goes off in "ALARM" mode, it will sound for 20 seconds. To stop the alarm manually, simply press and hold the "VOLUME" button on the side of the pager.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the devices with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in the pager, call buttons, and motion sensor when the low battery indicator (if available, or when performance degrades) is observed. Ensure to use the correct battery types (AA for pager and motion sensor, 23A12V for call buttons).
  • Storage: If storing the system for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage and damage. Store in a cool, dry place.
