Setup

1. Mounting the Strobe

  1. Attach the MS200V light body to a compatible light stand.
  2. Secure the strobe by tightening the mounting knob on the light stand.
  3. Adjust the tilt angle of the strobe using the handle and locking mechanism on the unit.

2. Attaching Accessories (Bowens Mount)

  1. Align the accessory (e.g., reflector, softbox) with the Bowens mount on the front of the strobe.
  2. Insert the accessory and rotate it clockwise until it locks into place.
  3. To remove, press the release button on the Bowens mount and rotate the accessory counter-clockwise.

3. Power Connection

  1. Ensure the strobe's power switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Connect the provided power cable to the power input port on the back of the MS200V.
  3. Plug the other end of the power cable into a suitable AC 110-120V/60Hz power outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Flip the power switch located on the back panel of the strobe to the 'ON' position to power on the unit. Flip it to 'OFF' to power down.

2. Adjusting Flash Power Output

  1. The flash power output can be adjusted from 1/32 to 1/1 in 50 steps.
  2. Rotate the 'SET' dial on the control panel to increase or decrease the flash power. The current power level will be displayed on the LCD screen.

3. Modeling Lamp Control

  1. Press the modeling lamp button (light bulb icon) on the control panel to turn the 10W LED modeling lamp on or off.
  2. To adjust the brightness, rotate the 'SET' dial while the modeling lamp is active. Brightness can be adjusted from 5% to 100%.

4. Godox 2.4G Wireless X System

The MS200V features a built-in 2.4G wireless X system for remote triggering and control. To use this feature:

  1. Ensure your Godox flash trigger (e.g., X1T, XPro, X2T) is set to the same group and channel as the MS200V.
  2. Use the 'GR/CH' buttons on the MS200V control panel to adjust the group and channel settings.
  3. The flash can now be triggered and controlled remotely via the transmitter.

The MS200V automatically saves your current settings (flash power, modeling lamp brightness, group/channel) after 3 seconds of inactivity. These settings will be restored when the unit is powered on again.
