4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to properly install your HANYCONY Multi Plug Outlet Extender:

1. Identify a Wall Outlet: Choose a standard duplex wall outlet (125V) that you wish to expand. Ensure the outlet is in good condition and properly grounded.
2. Prepare the Extender: The extender features a stabilizing rod on the back. If your wall outlet has a central screw, you can use the provided screw to secure the extender. If your outlet does not have a central screw or is a GFCI/USB receptacle, the stabilizing rod can be carefully cut off to ensure a flush fit.
3. Plug In: Align the prongs of the extender with the bottom receptacle of your wall outlet and push firmly until it is fully seated.
4. Secure (Optional): If using the screw, insert it into the central hole of the extender and tighten it into the wall outlet's screw hole. This provides additional stability and prevents the extender from pulling out when unplugging devices.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed, your HANYCONY Multi Plug Outlet Extender is ready for use:

• AC Outlets: Plug your standard 2-prong or 3-prong AC devices into any of the 8 available outlets. The wide spacing ensures that larger adapters can be used simultaneously.
• USB Charging: Connect your USB-powered devices to the USB-A (5V/2.4A Max) or USB-C (5V/3A Max) ports. The intelligent charging technology will automatically detect your device and deliver the optimal charging current.
• Surge Protection Indicator: The green "SURGE PROTECTED" light on the front of the unit indicates that your devices are protected from power surges. If this light is off, the surge protection has been compromised, and the unit should be replaced.
