2. Important Safety Instructions
To ensure safe operation and prevent injury or damage, please read all instructions before using this sewing machine. Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
Always unplug the machine from the electrical outlet when cleaning, making adjustments, or when not in use.
Keep fingers away from all moving parts. Special care is required around the sewing machine needle.
Use the proper needle plate. The wrong plate can cause the needle to break.
Do not pull or push fabric while stitching. This may deflect the needle, causing it to break.
Use only original accessories and parts recommended by the manufacturer.
3. Setup and Initial Use
3.1. Package Contents
Before starting, verify that all accessories are included in your package. The accessory box is located on the free arm of the machine.

3.3. Checking and Installing the Bobbin
Before sewing, ensure the bobbin is correctly installed and threaded. Remove the accessory box and open the shuttle cover to access the bobbin case. Pull the thread to confirm the bobbin spins clockwise and leave about 4 inches of thread hanging out. Reinstall the bobbin case and close the cover.

3.4. Winding the Bobbin
To wind a new bobbin, pull up the spool pin, place the thread spool, and guide the thread through the bobbin winder thread guide. Thread the bobbin through the hole from the inside to the outside, place it onto the shaft, and push the winder to the right. Hold the thread by hand and press the foot pedal to start winding. Stop the machine and cut off excess threads once complete.

3.5. Threading the Machine
Proper threading is crucial for smooth sewing. Lift the presser foot. Turn the handwheel towards you until the thread take-up lever is raised. Place the thread spool on the spool pin and guide the thread through the top thread guide. Follow the numbered threading path on the machine, ensuring the thread passes through the thread take-up from right to left. Finally, thread the needle from front to back.

3.6. Needle Position and Bobbin Thread Pickup
To ensure the needle is in the highest position for threading or picking up the bobbin thread, lift the presser foot and press the needle position button twice. This will bring the needle to its highest point. Hold the needle thread lightly with your left hand. Press the needle position button twice with your right hand. This action will draw up the bobbin thread, forming a loop. Use tweezers to pull the bobbin thread loop through the needle plate opening. Pull both threads about 6 inches back and under the presser foot.
3.7. Changing the Presser Foot
To change the presser foot, lift the presser foot lever. Push the pressure lever inward to release the current presser foot. Align the horizontal axis of the new presser foot with the bottom of the groove on the presser foot holder. Lower the presser foot lever to secure the new foot. The machine comes with 8 included presser feet for various applications.

4. Operating Modes
4.1. Single Sewing Mode
When the sewing machine is turned on, the default stitch is straight stitch, and the LED display will show "00". You can select the desired stitch using the up/down arrow buttons. For example, to select stitch 13, press the buttons until "13" is displayed. Place the fabric under the presser foot, lower the presser foot, and press the foot controller carefully to start sewing. To reinforce stitches, keep pressing the reverse stitch lever. When finished, remove your foot from the foot pedal, and the machine will stop.
Adjusting Stitch Length and Width
The Poolin EOC2100 allows for adjustable stitch length and width. To adjust stitch width, press the mode button until the stitch width indicator lights up. Use the up/down arrows to increase or decrease the width. To adjust stitch length, turn the stitch length dial on the side of the machine. The setting range is 0 to 4.

4.2. Double Needle Sewing Mode
For double needle sewing, first turn off the power before operation. Lift the presser foot and replace the single needle with a double needle. Ensure the round face of the double needle is forward. Tighten the screw slightly with a multi-function screwdriver, but do not overtighten. Pull up the spool pins and place two spools of thread. Thread the left thread anti-clockwise and the right thread clockwise. Pass both threads through the top thread guides. Thread the left needle first and then the right needle. Note that the automatic needle threader cannot be used for double needle threading. Pick up the bobbin thread and pull 15cm (6 inches) of all three threads back and under the presser foot.
To activate double needle mode, long press the MODE button until the "twin needle indicator LED" lights up. Select your desired stitch (e.g., stitch 13). You can adjust the stitch width by clicking the mode button and using the up/down arrows. To exit double needle mode, long press the MODE button again until the "twin needle mode indicator LED" lights off.

4.3. Buttonhole Sewing Mode
To use the buttonhole function, first replace the standard presser foot with the buttonhole presser foot. Ensure the thread is pulled through the buttonhole foot. Rotate the stitch length dial to b2 or b3 to enter buttonhole mode. The machine will automatically sew the buttonhole. Once complete, raise the presser foot and draw out the fabric. Cut both the top thread and bobbin thread. To exit buttonhole mode, rotate the dial in the opposite direction back to a utility stitch setting (e.g., 00).
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sewing machine. Always unplug the machine before performing any maintenance.
Cleaning: Use a soft brush or lint brush to remove lint and dust from the bobbin area and feed dogs.
Oiling: Refer to the detailed user guide for specific oiling points and frequency.
Needle Replacement: Replace needles regularly, especially if they are bent, dull, or causing skipped stitches.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your sewing machine, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
Skipped Stitches: Check if the needle is bent or dull, ensure it's inserted correctly, and verify proper threading.
Thread Breaking: Check for correct threading, proper tension settings, and ensure the needle is not damaged.
Fabric Puckering: Adjust tension, use the correct needle size for the fabric, or adjust stitch length.
Machine Not Starting: Ensure the power cord and foot pedal are securely connected, and the power switch is ON.
