Backlight Function

Maintenance

Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 165 feet (50 meters). This rating means the watch is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but not for diving or snorkeling. Avoid pressing buttons while the watch is submerged in water to prevent water ingress.

Cleaning

To clean your watch, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. For the bracelet, a soft brush can be used to remove dirt from crevices. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish.

Storage

When not in use, store your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Prolonged exposure to extreme conditions can affect the watch's performance and battery life.

Troubleshooting

Display is Blank or Dim

  • Check the battery. If the display is blank or very dim, the battery may need replacement.

Buttons are Unresponsive

  • Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though not a common feature for this model).
  • If buttons remain unresponsive, a battery issue or internal malfunction may be present. Consult a watch technician.

Backlight is Not Bright Enough

  • The backlight provides illumination for basic visibility in darkness. Its intensity is designed for functional use rather than bright illumination. This is a characteristic of the watch and not typically a defect.
