Maintenance and Care
Proper care will ensure the longevity and performance of your Armitron Sport watch.
Cleaning:
Wipe the watch case and strap regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing with clean water and drying thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Water Resistance:
This watch is water resistant to 330 feet (100 meters). This rating means it is suitable for showering, swimming, and snorkeling. Do not operate any buttons or the crown while the watch is submerged or wet, as this can compromise the water seal. Avoid exposure to hot water or steam, which can damage the seals.

Battery Replacement:
When the digital display dims or the watch stops functioning, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance is maintained.
Troubleshooting
- Digital Display is Blank or Dim:
This usually indicates a low battery. Replace the battery. If the issue persists after battery replacement, consult a service center.
- Analog Hands Not Moving:
Check if the crown is pushed all the way in. If it is, the battery for the analog movement might be depleted. Seek professional battery replacement.
- Buttons Are Unresponsive:
Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model typically doesn't have one). If the watch was recently exposed to water, ensure it is completely dry. If the problem continues, there may be an internal issue requiring professional service.
- Time is Inaccurate:
Re-set the time carefully following the instructions in the "Setup" section. Extreme temperatures or strong magnetic fields can affect accuracy. If inaccuracy persists, the watch may require servicing.
