2. Setup and Assembly

The E·Bycco EB7 electric bicycle comes 95% pre-assembled. The following steps detail the final assembly required before your first ride.

2.2. Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions

  1. Install Handlebar:
    Remove the four screws from the handlebar stem. Place the handlebar into position and tighten the four screws to secure it. Ensure the handlebar is centered and firm.

  2. Connect Front Light Cable:
    Locate the front light cable near the handlebar and connect the two ends securely.
  3. Install Front Wheel:
    Remove the protective cap from the front fork. Align the front wheel with the fork, ensuring the disc brake rotor slides correctly into the caliper. Install and lock the quick release skewer.

  4. Install Pedals:
    Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. The left pedal screws in counter-clockwise, and the right pedal screws in clockwise. Ensure they are tightened securely to prevent loosening during riding.
  5. Install Front Fender and Light:
    Remove the screw from the front fork bridge. Place the front fender into position and secure it with the screw. Attach the headlight to the designated mounting point on the front fork and tighten the screw.
  6. Install Rear Fender and Rack:
    Attach the rear fender to the frame using the provided screws. Then, install the rear rack by securing it to the designated mounting points on the frame and fender.
  7. Install Battery:
    Insert the 48V/16Ah removable battery into its compartment on the bike frame. Use the key to lock the battery in place, ensuring it is secure before riding.
  8. Adjust Seat Height:
    Adjust the seat post to your comfortable riding height. Ensure the quick release lever is securely locked to prevent the seat from moving during your ride.

3. Operating Instructions

The E·Bycco EB7 offers multiple riding modes and features for a versatile experience.

3.1. Riding Modes

  • Normal Bike Mode: Power off, pedal like a traditional bicycle.
  • Pedal Assist Mode (PAS): The motor provides assistance as you pedal. The EB7 features 5 levels of pedal assist, adjustable via the handlebar controls. Higher levels provide more motor power.
