4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Soldering Iron Operation
- Power On: Press the "IRON" power button on the main unit. The LED display will show the current temperature.
- Temperature Adjustment: Use the temperature control buttons (usually '+' and '-') for the soldering iron to set the desired temperature between 392°F and 896°F (200°C and 480°C). The unit features a built-in PID program for precise temperature control.
- Pre-heating: Allow the soldering iron to reach the set temperature. This usually takes a short time.
- Soldering: Apply solder to the joint, ensuring proper heat transfer from the tip.
- Sleep Mode: The soldering iron will automatically enter sleep mode if not used for 10 minutes, cooling to a lower temperature to reduce wear and extend tip lifespan. To reactivate, simply pick up the iron.

4.2. Hot Air Gun Operation
- Power On: Press the "HOT AIR" power button on the main unit. The LED display will show the current temperature.
- Temperature Adjustment: Use the temperature control buttons (usually '+' and '-') for the hot air gun to set the desired temperature between 212°F and 896°F (100°C and 480°C).
- Air Volume Adjustment: Use the "AIR" knob to adjust the air volume to your desired level.
- Operation: Pick up the hot air gun from its holder. The unit will automatically start heating and blowing air. Direct the hot air towards the component to be reworked.
- Standby Mode (Auto Start/Stop): When the hot air gun is placed back into its holder, it will automatically cool down to 212°F and stop heating temporarily, entering standby mode. This feature helps prolong the heating element's lifespan.

4.3. Additional Functions
- °C-°F Conversion: The unit supports conversion between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature displays. Refer to the specific button or combination of buttons on your unit for this function (usually indicated in a quick start guide or on the unit itself).
- Automatic Shutdown: The unit may feature an automatic shutdown function for safety and energy saving. Consult the product's quick start guide for details on activation and settings.
- Calibration Function: For greater temperature precision, the unit includes a calibration function. This allows you to fine-tune the displayed temperature to match an external temperature probe.
5. Maintenance
- Soldering Tip Cleaning: Regularly clean the soldering iron tip using the brass wool tip cleaner provided. This helps maintain optimal heat transfer and extends tip life.
- Nozzle Cleaning: Ensure hot air nozzles are free from debris or solder residue. Clean gently when cool.
- General Cleaning: Keep the main unit and handpieces clean and free of dust. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use, store the unit and its accessories in a dry, safe place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6. Troubleshooting
