3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
  2. Insert one compatible battery (18650 or CR123A) with the positive (+) terminal facing towards the head of the flashlight.
  3. Screw the tail cap back on securely.

Note: The SF-R26 is compatible with 18650 rechargeable batteries and CR123A batteries. RCR123A batteries are not compatible and should not be used.

3.2 Charging

The SF-R26 features a built-in USB charging function. To charge the battery:

  1. Ensure a compatible battery is installed inside the flashlight.
  2. Locate the USB charging port, typically covered by a rubber flap on the side of the flashlight.
  3. Connect the provided USB cable to the flashlight's charging port and to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
  4. The battery indicator will show the charging status.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

  • To Turn On: Press the side switch once.
  • To Turn Off: Press and hold the side switch for approximately 1 second.

4.2 Mode Selection

With the flashlight turned on, short press the side switch to cycle through the brightness modes:

  • LOW (10 lumens)
  • MID (100 lumens)
  • HIGH (250 lumens)
  • TURBO (1200 lumens)

The flashlight will remember the last used brightness mode (except STROBE) when turned off and on again.

4.3 Strobe Mode

To activate the STROBE mode, double-press the side switch quickly from any state (on or off). Press the switch again to return to the previous brightness mode or turn off the flashlight.

4.4 Battery Indicator

The integrated battery indicator light provides information on the remaining battery charge. The indicator will flash to communicate the battery level. Refer to the specific flashing patterns in the table below:

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • O-rings: Periodically inspect the O-rings for wear and tear. Lubricate them with silicone grease to maintain the waterproof seal. Replace damaged O-rings with the provided spares.
  • Threads: Keep the threads of the tail cap clean and lightly lubricated to ensure smooth operation and good electrical contact.
  • Storage: If storing the flashlight for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage and damage. Store in a cool, dry place.

6. Troubleshooting
