Introduction

The Nintendo Pokemon Go Plus + is an accessory designed to enhance your gameplay experience in both the Pokemon GO and Pokemon Sleep smart device applications. Utilizing Bluetooth Low Energy technology, this device allows for automatic actions in Pokemon GO and comprehensive sleep tracking in Pokemon Sleep. It features an internal Pikachu that can provide lullabies and act as an alarm, becoming friendlier with consistent sleep tracking.

Initial Charging

Before first use, ensure the device is fully charged. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the USB-C port on the device and to a compatible USB power source. The indicator light will show charging status.

Pairing with Pokemon GO

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smart device.
2. Open the Pokemon GO application.
3. Tap the Main Menu button (Poké Ball icon) at the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap 'Settings' (gear icon).
5. Scroll down and select 'Connected Devices and Services'.
6. Tap 'Pokemon GO Plus +'.
7. Press the central button on your Pokemon Go Plus + device. The device will vibrate and the indicator light will flash blue.
8. In the app, tap the Pokemon Go Plus + icon that appears to complete the pairing process. The device will vibrate and the indicator light will turn solid blue when connected.

Pairing with Pokemon Sleep

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smart device.
2. Open the Pokemon Sleep application.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your Pokemon Go Plus + device.
4. Press the central button on your Pokemon Go Plus + device when prompted.

Operating Instructions

Pokemon GO Functions

Once connected to Pokemon GO, the device will assist with gameplay:

• Automatic Catching: The device will automatically attempt to catch nearby wild Pokemon using standard Poké Balls.
• Automatic Spinning: The device will automatically spin nearby PokéStops to collect items.
• Manual Catching (Great/Ultra Balls): If you prefer to use Great Balls or Ultra Balls, you can configure this in the Pokemon GO settings. When a Pokemon is detected, press the central button on the device to throw the selected ball type.

Indicator Lights:

• Green Flash: A wild Pokemon is nearby.
• Blue Flash: A PokéStop is nearby.
• Rainbow Flash: Pokemon caught successfully or items collected from PokéStop.
• Red Flash: Failed to catch Pokemon or PokéStop out of range/full inventory.

Pokemon Sleep Functions

The Pokemon Go Plus + is designed to track your sleep patterns:

1. Start Sleep Tracking: Place the device near your pillow. Press and hold the central button until the indicator light turns blue and a lullaby plays, indicating tracking has begun.
2. Pikachu Lullabies & Alarm: The internal Pikachu can sing lullabies to help you sleep and act as your morning alarm. The more you track your sleep, the friendlier Pikachu becomes, unlocking more sounds.
3. Stop Sleep Tracking: In the morning, press and hold the central button again to stop tracking. Your sleep data will be transferred to the Pokemon Sleep app.

Maintenance

Charging the Device

To charge your Pokemon Go Plus +:

• Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the device.
• Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on a computer.
• The indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours.

Cleaning

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these may damage the device.

Battery Information

The device contains an internal rechargeable battery. This battery is not user-replaceable. For battery-related issues, please contact Nintendo Support.

Troubleshooting

• Device not connecting or frequently disconnecting: Ensure Bluetooth is active on your smart device. Check the device's battery level. Try restarting both the Pokemon Go Plus + and the respective app. If issues persist, unpair and re-pair the device. Note that the device may require re-connection via the app periodically.
• Device not catching Pokemon or spinning PokéStops: Verify that you have standard Poké Balls in your inventory for catching. Ensure the device is actively connected to the Pokemon GO app. Check the in-app settings to confirm auto-catch and auto-spin features are enabled.
• Vibration is too strong or cannot be turned off: The vibration intensity of the Pokemon Go Plus + is fixed and cannot be adjusted or disabled. This is a design characteristic of the device.
• Device not tracking sleep: Confirm that the device was placed correctly near your pillow and that sleep tracking was initiated by pressing and holding the central button until the lullaby played. Ensure the device has sufficient battery charge.
• Device not charging: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the device and a working power source. Try a different USB port or power adapter.
