1. Introduction

The ANNKE FCD600 is a high-performance 6MP dual-lens Power over Ethernet (PoE) IP security camera designed for outdoor surveillance. 3. Physical Overview

The ANNKE FCD600 camera features a robust design suitable for outdoor environments. It integrates two lenses to achieve its wide field of view and includes essential components for power and network connectivity.

4. Installation and Setup

4.1 Mounting the Camera

The ANNKE FCD600 is designed for wall mounting. Its IP66 weather-resistant rating ensures durability in various outdoor conditions.

  1. Choose a Location: Select a suitable outdoor location that provides the desired surveillance coverage and allows for easy cable routing. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy enough to support the camera.
  2. Use the Drill Template: Place the provided drill template on the wall at the chosen location. Mark the positions for drilling.
  3. Drill Holes: Drill holes according to the marks. Insert the wall plugs if mounting on masonry.
  4. Attach Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the screws provided in the screw bag.
  5. Mount the Camera: Attach the camera to the mounting bracket. Ensure it is securely fastened.

4.2 Power and Network Connection (PoE)

The ANNKE FCD600 camera utilizes Power over Ethernet (PoE) for both power supply and data transmission, simplifying wiring.

  1. Connect Ethernet Cable: Connect one end of the provided 1m network cable to the camera's Ethernet port.
  2. Connect to PoE Device: Connect the other end of the network cable to a PoE-enabled NVR (Network Video Recorder) or a PoE switch. Ensure the NVR/switch is powered on.
  3. Power On: The camera will power on automatically once connected to a PoE source.

4.3 Initial Configuration (ANNKE Vision App)

For initial setup and remote access, download the ANNKE Vision app on your smartphone or tablet.

  1. Download App: Search for "ANNKE Vision" in your device's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store) and install it.
  2. Create Account: Open the app and register for an ANNKE account if you don't have one.
  3. Add Device: Follow the in-app instructions to add your FCD600 camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or manually entering its serial number.
  4. Network Settings: The app will guide you through configuring network settings. While the camera is primarily PoE, the app uses your device's Wi-Fi for communication during setup and for remote viewing.
  5. Set Password: Create a strong password for your camera to ensure security.

5. Operation

5.1 Live View and Recording

Access live video feeds and recorded footage through your NVR or the ANNKE Vision app.

  • NVR Access: Connect a monitor to your NVR to view live feeds and manage recordings directly. Refer to your NVR's manual for specific instructions.
  • App Access: Open the ANNKE Vision app, select your camera, and view the live stream. You can initiate manual recordings, take snapshots, and access recorded events.

5.2 6MP Resolution

6. Advanced Features

6.1 Full-Color Night Vision

Equipped with advanced starlight sensors and integrated spotlights, the FCD600 provides full-color night vision, even in extremely low-light conditions. In complete darkness, it seamlessly transitions to infrared (IR) night vision for clear black-and-white images.

6.3 Two-Way Audio

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ANNKE FCD600 camera.

  • Lens Cleaning: Periodically clean the camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or water spots that may affect image clarity. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  • Housing Inspection: Inspect the camera housing and mounting bracket for any signs of damage or loosening. Tighten screws if necessary.
  • Cable Check: Ensure all cables are securely connected and free from damage.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ANNKE FCD600 camera, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power/No Image:
    • Ensure the PoE NVR/switch is powered on.
    • Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected at both ends.
    • Try a different Ethernet port on the NVR/switch or a different cable.
  • Cannot Connect to App:
    • Ensure your smartphone is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network or mobile data.
    • Verify the camera is powered on and connected to the network via PoE.
    • Restart the camera and your router/NVR.
    • Ensure the ANNKE Vision app is updated to the latest version.
    • If using a QR code, ensure the camera lens is clean and the lighting is adequate.
  • Poor Image Quality:
    • Clean the camera lenses.
    • Check for obstructions in the camera's field of view.
    • Ensure the camera is receiving adequate power.
    • Adjust image settings (brightness, contrast) in the app or NVR.
  • False Motion Alerts:
    • Adjust the sensitivity of motion detection in the app.
    • Refine the detection zones to exclude areas with frequent irrelevant movement (e.g., trees swaying).
    • Ensure AI detection for Person/Vehicle is enabled if you wish to filter out other movements.
