Setup
1. Battery Installation
The iHome Digital Bathroom Scale requires 2 AAA batteries, which are included. To install or replace batteries:
- Turn the scale over to access the battery compartment on the underside.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Initial Placement
For accurate readings, place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid placing it on carpets, rugs, or uneven flooring.

Operating Instructions
1. Taking a Measurement
The iHome Digital Bathroom Scale features a 'Step On' technology for instant readings:
- Gently step onto the center of the scale.
- Wait for the display to show '0.0' before stepping on.
- Stand still until your weight is displayed and stabilizes.
- The reading will flash a few times and then hold for a moment before automatically turning off.
2. Unit Conversion
To switch between pounds (lb) and kilograms (kg):
- Locate the 'UNIT' button on the underside of the scale, near the battery compartment.
- Press the button to toggle between 'lb' and 'kg'.
- The selected unit will be displayed on the screen during your next measurement.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
The scale features a sleek tempered glass surface that is easy to clean:
- Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
- Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
2. Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries as described in the 'Battery Installation' section. It is recommended to replace all batteries at the same time and avoid mixing new and old batteries.
