4. Initial Setup
Follow these steps before using your coffee machine for the first time.
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Remove all protective films and packing materials.
- Placement: Place the machine on a stable, level surface away from water splashes and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
- Water Tank: Remove the water tank, rinse it thoroughly, and fill it with fresh tap water up to the MAX level. Reinsert the tank firmly into its position.
- Bean Hopper: Open the bean hopper lid and fill it with fresh coffee beans. Do not overfill. Ensure the lid is properly closed to maintain bean freshness. The bean hopper has a capacity of 250g.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Making Coffee from Whole Beans
- Ensure the water tank is filled and the bean hopper contains coffee beans.
- Place one or two cups under the coffee spouts.
- Turn on the machine using the power button. Wait for the machine to heat up and the indicator lights to stabilize.
- Adjust Coffee Strength: Use the MIN/MAX dial on the control panel to select your desired coffee strength.
- Select Drink: Press the Espresso, Coffee, Espresso 2x, or Coffee 2x button for your preferred beverage. The machine will automatically grind the beans, brew, and dispense the coffee.
5.2 Using Pre-Ground Coffee
This machine also allows for the use of pre-ground coffee, ideal for decaffeinated or different blends.
- Ensure the machine is on and ready.
- Open the ground coffee compartment.
- Add one level scoop of pre-ground coffee for a single serving. Do not overfill, as this can damage the machine.
- Close the compartment lid securely.
- Press the desired coffee button. The machine will bypass the grinder and use the pre-ground coffee.
5.3 Milk Frothing with the Steam Wand
The manual steam wand allows you to create creamy milk foam for cappuccinos and lattes.
- Fill a pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy).
- Press the Steam button on the control panel. Wait for the steam indicator light to stabilize, indicating the machine has reached the correct temperature.
- Immerse the steam wand into the milk, just below the surface.
- Turn the steam knob to release steam and begin frothing the milk. Move the pitcher up and down to incorporate air and create foam.
- Once the desired volume and texture of froth are achieved, turn off the steam knob and press the Steam button again to stop the steam function.
- Immediately after frothing, wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth and purge a small amount of steam to clear any milk residue.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

6.1 Daily Cleaning
- Drip Tray and Coffee Grounds Container: Empty and rinse the drip tray and the coffee grounds container daily. These components are typically dishwasher safe.
