2. Safety Instructions
- Always disconnect the main power supply before attempting any installation, maintenance, or repair work.
- Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with local wiring regulations.
- Ensure the product is properly grounded.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity: 1200W for incandescent bulbs, 600W for LED lamps or other energy-saving bulbs.
- The IP65 rating indicates protection against dust and low-pressure water jets, making it suitable for outdoor use. However, avoid direct high-pressure water exposure.
- Do not modify the product in any way. Unauthorized modifications may void the warranty and pose safety risks.
3. Product Features
- Programmable Sensor: Adjustable sensitivity (SENS), operating duration (TIME), and ambient light threshold (LUX).
- High Load Capacity: Supports up to 1200W for incandescent lamps and 600W for LED or other energy-saving lamps.
- Wide Detection Range:
- Ceiling Mount: Detection range adjustable from 10m to 24m with a 360° detection angle.
- Wall Mount: Detection range adjustable from 5m to 12m with a 180° detection angle.
- Adjustable Light Sensitivity: Operates between 0.1 and 2000 lux, allowing activation only in darkness or at any light level.
- Adjustable Operating Duration: Light stays on for 10 seconds to 15 minutes after motion detection.
- IP65 Rated: Suitable for outdoor installation.
4. Setup and Installation
4.1. Mounting Considerations
The sensor can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. Consider the desired detection area and adjust the sensor head accordingly. Avoid mounting near heat sources, direct sunlight, or areas with strong air currents, as these can cause false triggers.

Figure 2: The sensor head can be rotated 180 degrees for optimal positioning.

Figure 3: Product dimensions: 83mm diameter, 121mm length.
4.2. Wiring Diagram (3-Wire Connection)
This motion sensor requires a 3-wire connection (Live, Neutral, Switched Live). Refer to the diagram below for correct wiring. Ensure power is OFF before connecting any wires.

Figure 4: Wiring diagram showing Live (L), Neutral (N), and Switched Live (L') connections.
Wire Color Code (Typical):
- Brown/Black: Live (L) - Connect to incoming Live.
- Blue: Neutral (N) - Connect to incoming Neutral and to the lamp's Neutral.
- Red/Grey: Switched Live (L') - Connect to the lamp's Live.
- Green/Yellow: Earth (Ground) - Connect to Earth terminal.
4.3. Detection Area
The detection range and angle vary based on mounting height and orientation. Refer to the diagrams below for typical detection patterns.

Figure 5: Detection patterns for ceiling mount (left, 360°) and wall mount (right, 180°).

Figure 6: Detailed illustration of detection zones for various mounting scenarios.
5. Operating Instructions and Adjustments
The sensor features three adjustable dials for customization:

Figure 7: Adjustment dials for TIME, SENS, and LUX settings.
- TIME (Duration Setting):
This dial controls how long the connected light remains on after motion is detected and the sensor is triggered. The duration can be set from approximately 10 seconds to 15 minutes. Turn the dial clockwise to increase the duration and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
- SENS (Sensitivity Setting):
This dial adjusts the sensitivity of the motion detection. A higher sensitivity setting (clockwise) will detect smaller movements or movements at a greater distance. A lower sensitivity setting (counter-clockwise) will require more significant movement or closer proximity to trigger. Adjust this to prevent false triggers from small animals or distant movements.
- LUX (Ambient Light Threshold):
This dial determines the ambient light level at which the sensor will become active.
- Turn the dial towards the "sun" symbol (max lux, ~2000 lux) for the sensor to operate during both day and night.
- Turn the dial towards the "moon" symbol (min lux, ~0.1 lux) for the sensor to operate only when it is dark.
After adjusting, test the sensor's functionality by walking through the detection area at different times of day/night to ensure it meets your requirements.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the sensor lens and housing periodically with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the plastic and affect sensor performance.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the sensor for any signs of damage, loose connections, or wear. Ensure the mounting is secure.
- Obstructions: Keep the detection area clear of any obstructions (e.g., growing plants, new structures) that might block the sensor's view or cause false triggers.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on. |
|
|
| Light stays on continuously. |
|
|
| Light turns on for no apparent reason (false triggers). |
|
|
| Detection range is too short or too long. |
