Setup and First Use
- Remove Insulating Sheet: Before first use, unscrew the tail cap and remove the clear insulating sheet located between the battery and the contact point. This prevents battery drain during shipping.
- Charge Battery: Ensure the battery is fully charged before initial use. Connect the included charging cable to the flashlight and a USB power source. The indicator light will show charging status.
- Re-attach Tail Cap: After removing the insulating sheet and/or charging, securely screw the tail cap back on.

Operating Instructions
The NICRON B74U features a single button for controlling all functions.

White Light Operation (5 Modes)
- Turn On/Off: Press and hold the button for approximately 1.5 seconds to turn the white light on or off.
- Cycle Brightness Modes: Once the white light is on, short press the button to cycle through Low > Medium > High brightness modes. The flashlight has a memory function and will turn on in the last used brightness mode.
- Strobe/SOS: From any white light mode, press the button 3 times quickly to activate Strobe mode. Press 3 times again to activate SOS mode. Short press once to return to the previous brightness mode.

UV Light Operation (395nm)
- Activate UV Light: From any state (on or off), long press the button for 2 seconds to turn on the UV light.
- Turn Off UV Light: Long press the button for 2 seconds again to turn off the UV light.

- Spotting scorpions.
