Setup
- Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the monitor and insert the four AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Connect Cuff: Insert the air tube from the wide-range arm cuff securely into the air jack on the side of the monitor unit.
- Apply Cuff: Ensure the cuff fits arms from 8.6 inches to 16.5 inches (22 cm to 42 cm). Place the cuff on your upper arm, approximately 0.5 inches above the elbow. The artery mark on the cuff should align with your brachial artery. The cuff should be snug but not overly tight.

Operating Instructions
The SmartHeart monitor features fully automatic inflation and deflation with a simple one-button start, making it easy to use.
- Preparation: Sit comfortably with your feet flat on the floor. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level. Remain still and avoid talking during the measurement.
- Start Measurement: Press the large power button (usually labeled with a power symbol) on the front of the monitor. The cuff will automatically inflate.
- Intelligent Inflation Technology: The monitor utilizes intelligent inflation technology to determine the optimal inflation level based on your previous readings, ensuring a faster and more comfortable measurement.
- View Results: Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your Systolic (SYS), Diastolic (DIA), and Pulse (PUL) readings will be displayed on the large LCD screen.
- Interpreting Results:
- Hypertension Indicator: Visual cues on the display will indicate if your reading falls within the globally accepted World Health Organization standards for hypertension.
