2. Battery (BATT): Connect a heavy-gauge power wire (minimum 8 AWG, preferably 4 AWG) from the amplifier's BATT terminal directly to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery. Install an appropriate fuse holder (e.g., 60A for this amplifier) within 18 inches (45 cm) of the battery.
3. Remote (REM): Connect a remote turn-on wire (typically 18 AWG) from the amplifier's REM terminal to the remote output of your head unit. If your head unit does not have a remote output, you can use the amplifier's "Auto Turn-on" feature (see Section 5.3).

5.2.2 Input Connections (RCA)
