1. Introduction

3.2 Powering the Camera

The Axis M1075-L camera is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE). Connect an Ethernet cable from a PoE-enabled switch or injector to the camera's Ethernet port. This single cable provides both power and network connectivity.

3.3 Network Connection

Connect the camera to your local network using an Ethernet cable. For initial setup and configuration, it is recommended to connect the camera to a network segment accessible by your computer. The camera supports network integration for remote access and management.

4. Operating the Camera

4.1 Live View and Recording

Access the live video feed through the Axis Edge software or a compatible web browser. Configure recording settings, including continuous recording, event-triggered recording, and storage locations.

The camera automatically activates its infrared illumination in low-light conditions, providing clear black-and-white video. No manual adjustment is typically required for this feature.
