Setup

Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
  2. Remove the cover by sliding it down or prying it open gently.
  3. Insert one CR2450 battery, ensuring the positive (+) side faces upwards.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

The device will power on automatically once the battery is installed, and the current temperature and humidity will be displayed.

Operating Instructions

Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F)

Press the °C/°F button located on the back of the device to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature displays.

Understanding the Comfort Indicator

The comfort indicator provides a quick visual reference for the current humidity level:

  • DRY (Orange): Humidity is below 30%.
  • COMFORT (Green): Humidity is between 30% and 70%.
  • WET (Blue): Humidity is above 70%.

Viewing 24-Hour High/Low Records

The device automatically records and displays the highest and lowest temperature and humidity values over the past 24 hours. These values are shown at the bottom of the display.

Calibration

The AIMILAR AB026 allows for manual calibration of temperature and humidity readings to ensure accuracy. Follow these steps:

  1. Simultaneously press and hold the Up (▲) and Down (▼) buttons on the back of the device until the temperature digits begin to flash.
  2. Press the Up (▲) or Down (▼) button to adjust the temperature value.
  3. Press the °C/°F button to save the temperature adjustment. The humidity digits will then begin to flash.
  4. Press the Up (▲) or Down (▼) button to adjust the humidity value.
  5. Press the °C/°F button again to save the humidity adjustment and exit calibration mode.

Mounting Options
