Setup
1. Unboxing and Placement:
Carefully remove the air cooler and all accessories from the packaging. This unit is designed for windowless operation and does not require complicated installation or assembly. It is equipped with 360° wheels for easy movement.

2. Adding Water and Ice Packs:
For optimal cooling and humidification, fill the water tank with clean water. You can also add the provided ice packs to the bottom tank for enhanced cooling. The unit features double tanks for convenient top refilling and ample capacity.

To insert ice packs, pull out the bottom water tank. Place the frozen ice packs inside and slide the tank back into position.

Operating Instructions
The BALKO Evaporative Air Cooler can be operated using the touch control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

1. Power On/Off:
Press the POWER button (
) on the control panel or remote to turn the unit on or off.
2. Adjusting Fan Speed:
Press the SPEED button to cycle through 3 fan speeds: Low, Medium, and High.

3. Selecting Operating Mode:
Press the MODE button to select from 4 wind modes:
- Normal: Standard continuous airflow.
- Natural: Simulates natural breeze with varying fan speeds.
- Cooler: Activates the evaporative cooling function (requires water in tank).
- Sleep: Operates quietly with reduced fan speed and dimmed lights, ideal for nighttime use.
4. Setting the Timer:
Press the TIMER button to set the auto-off timer for up to 12 hours. Each press increases the timer setting.

5. Activating Oscillation:
Press the SWING button to activate the 65° automatic oscillation for wider air distribution. The unit also supports 25° manual vertical swing adjustment.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air cooler.
1. Cleaning the Cooling Pad and Grill:
The grill and cooling pad are designed to be easily removed and washed to keep the air fresh and clean. Unplug the unit before cleaning.

2. Cleaning the Water Tank:
Periodically clean the water tank to prevent mold or mildew buildup. Remove the bottom tank, empty any remaining water, and clean with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly before reinserting.
3. Storage:
When not in use for extended periods, ensure the unit is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
