Setup Guide

1. Power Connection: Connect the camera to a power source using the provided USB power adapter. Ensure the power connection is stable.
2. App Download: Download the official ANRAN app from your smartphone's app store (available for Android and iOS).
3. Account Registration: Open the app and register a new account or log in if you already have one.
4. Add Device: Follow the in-app instructions to add your new camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or manually entering its ID.
5. Wi-Fi Connection: Connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. The camera supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands. Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network during setup.
6. Mounting: Choose a suitable outdoor location for mounting. The camera is wall-mountable. Ensure it is installed under a roof or eaves to avoid direct exposure to heavy rain, despite its waterproof rating.

Operating Instructions

Live View and PTZ Control

Once connected, open the ANRAN app to view the live feed. Use the on-screen controls to pan (355° horizontal) and tilt (90° vertical) the camera for a comprehensive view of your monitored area.

Recording and Storage

• Continuous Recording: The camera records continuously as long as it is powered.
• SD Card Storage: Insert a Micro SD card (not included) into the TF card slot for local storage. The camera supports automatic loop recording, overwriting the oldest footage when the card is full.
• Cloud Storage: Optional cloud storage services may be available through the app for secure backup of your footage.

Motion Detection and Auto Tracking

Enable motion detection and auto-tracking in the app settings. The camera will automatically follow detected movement and send alerts to your smartphone. By default, auto-tracking is off; please enable it if desired.

Two-Way Audio

Use the microphone icon in the app to activate two-way audio, allowing you to speak through the camera and hear audio from the camera's location.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear image quality. Do not use harsh chemicals.
• Environmental Protection: While the camera has an IP66 dustproof and waterproof rating, it is recommended to install it in a sheltered location, such as under an eave, to protect it from extreme weather conditions and prolong its lifespan.
• Firmware Updates: Check the app regularly for firmware updates to ensure your camera has the latest features and security enhancements.

Troubleshooting

• Camera Offline: Check the power connection and Wi-Fi signal strength. Ensure the camera is within range of your router. Try restarting the camera and your router.
• Poor Image Quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure there is sufficient lighting in the monitored area. Check your internet connection speed.
• Motion Detection Not Working: Verify that motion detection is enabled in the app settings. Adjust sensitivity levels if necessary. Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the camera's view.
• SD Card Not Recording: Ensure the SD card is properly inserted and formatted within the app. Check if the card is full; enable loop recording if not already.
• Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz or 5GHz network (both are supported). Double-check your Wi-Fi password. If issues persist, try resetting the camera using the reset button.
