Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: Electrical Shock Hazard

• Do not use with any solid-state speed control device.
• Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or the like. Arrange cord away from traffic area where it will not be tripped over.
• Do not use fan in window. Rain may cause electrical hazard.
• Do not operate the fan with blade guards or any safety device removed.
• Avoid the use of extension cords due to risk of fire. If an extension cord must be used, the cord must be minimum 14AWG and rated not less than 1875 watts.
• Do not insert or allow any object to enter any openings on the fan. Doing so may cause electric shock and/or fire hazard. Avoid contact with moving parts.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

WARNING: Shock Hazard

Use your fan only in dry environments. This fan is not intended for use in a bathroom, laundry area, or similar locations, or near sinks, washing machines, swimming pools or other sources of water. Never locate fan where it may fall into a bathtub or other water receptacle. Do not use in damp environments such as flooded basements.

WARNING: Hot Surfaces

Do not touch fan motor when in use. This motor is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.

WARNING: Fire Hazard

Fans have arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use near combustible materials or flammable gases or sources of heat. DO NOT USE in areas where gasoline, paint or flammable materials are used or stored. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock, fire, or damage the fan.

Package Contents

Upon opening the package, ensure all the following components are present:

• VENTISOL 20-Inch Fan Unit (pre-assembled with blades and guard)
• Floor Stand Legs (2 pieces)
• Support Brackets (2 pieces)
• Screw Knobs (2 pieces)
• Rubber Rings (2 pieces)

Setup Instructions

Floor Fan Assembly

1. Thread the screw knob through the ring and install it with the rubber ring and the support bracket in turn.
2. Align cradle base (packed separately) with support brackets attached to fan body sides.
3. Insert support bracket into cradle base until spring button protrudes out of the hole in cradle base.
4. Repeat above process for opposite side of fan.

Wall Mount Installation

1. Select a desired location on a sturdy wall for mounting.
2. Secure the wall mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws and anchors. Ensure it is firmly attached.
3. Attach the fan unit to the wall bracket by aligning the support frame with the bracket and securing it with the appropriate hardware.
4. Ensure the fan is securely mounted and stable before operation.

Operating Instructions

1. Place the fan on a safe, flat surface where it can not fall or be pulled by the cord.
2. Adjust both tilt-knobs to secure fan head.
3. Plug unit into electrical outlet.
4. Select air speed by setting switch at the back of the fan to low, medium or high speed for desired air movement.
5. Always turn off and unplug the fan after use. It is normal for the motor to feel warm to the touch after continuous operation. This fan features a thermal shut off that will automatically shut the fan off if it overheats for any reason. If this happens, unplug the fan from the outlet immediately.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your VENTISOL fan.

• Cleaning: Always unplug the fan before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Blade Cleaning: Periodically, the fan blades may accumulate dust. To clean the blades, carefully remove the front grill (if detachable) according to the assembly instructions, wipe the blades with a soft cloth, and reattach the grill securely.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the fan in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging or covered to protect it from dust.
