Setup and First Use
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, ensure the earbuds and charging case are fully charged. This process typically takes 1-1.5 hours.
- Pick the earbuds out of the charging case.
- If present, peel off any insulation paper from the earbuds' charging contacts.
- Place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid.
- Connect the Type-C charging cable to the charging case and a power source.

2. Pairing with Your Device (First Connection)
The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode when taken out of the case.
- Ensure Bluetooth is turned off on your phone or device initially.
- Open the charging case. The earbuds will power on and automatically pair with each other within seconds. The LED light on one earbud will flash green and orange alternately, indicating pairing mode.
- Turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone or device.
- Search for "GIEC CandyPods" in the list of available devices and select it to connect.
- Once successfully paired, the LED light on the earbud will turn off. The earbuds will automatically reconnect to your device in subsequent uses when the case is opened.

Operating Instructions
Touch Controls
The GIEC CandyPods feature smart touch controls on each earbud for easy management of music playback, calls, and voice assistant activation. The touch control area is located on the outer surface of each earbud.
- Power On: Long tap 2 seconds (L/R earbud).
- Power Off: Tap once, then long tap 2 seconds (L/R earbud).
- Play/Pause: Tap once (L/R earbud).
- Next Track: Double tap (L/R earbud).
- Previous Track: Triple tap (L/R earbud).
- Answer/End Call: Double tap (L/R earbud).
- Reject Call: Long tap 2 seconds (L/R earbud).
- Activate Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Long tap 2 seconds (L/R earbud).
- Music/Game Mode: Quadruple tap (L/R earbud).

Single Earbud Use
Both earbuds can be used independently. Simply take one earbud out of the charging case, and it will connect to your device. The other earbud can remain in the case or be used separately.

Maintenance and Care
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your GIEC CandyPods, follow these care guidelines:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning sprays, or abrasive materials.
- Water and Dust Resistance: The earbuds are IP55 waterproof and dustproof, meaning they are resistant to sweat, light rain, and dust. They are not designed for swimming or submersion in water. Ensure the charging contacts are dry before placing them back in the case or charging.
- Storage: Store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use to protect them and keep them charged. Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Charging: Use the provided Type-C cable for charging. Avoid using damaged cables or chargers.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your GIEC CandyPods, try the following solutions:
- Earbuds not charging:
- Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source.
- Check if the charging contacts on the earbuds and inside the case are clean and free of debris.
- Confirm the earbuds are correctly seated in the charging slots.
- Earbuds not pairing/connecting:
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and within range (up to 33 feet).
- Forget "GIEC CandyPods" from your device's Bluetooth settings and attempt to pair again.
- Ensure both earbuds are taken out of the case to initiate auto-pairing.
- Recharge the earbuds and case to ensure sufficient power.
- Only one earbud working:
- Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then take them out again. This often re-syncs them.
- Ensure both earbuds are charged.
- Low sound quality/No sound:
- Adjust the volume on both your device and the earbuds.
- Ensure the earbuds are clean and free of earwax buildup.
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the Bluetooth connection.
