Setup
1. Charging the Device
Connect the Type-C USB cable to the camera and the power adapter. Plug the adapter into a power outlet. The device will fully charge in approximately 4 hours. The indicator light will show charging status.
2. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the red Power On/Off button located on the side of the camera for a few seconds to turn the device on or off.
3. Attaching Clips
The CAMMHD C8 comes with two 360° rotatable clips (long and short) for various mounting preferences. Align the clip with the slot on the back of the camera and slide it into place until it clicks securely. To remove, press the release tab and slide the clip off.
4. Connecting to Computer/Phone
Use the provided Type-C USB cable to connect the camera to a computer for data transfer. For mobile devices, an OTG adapter (not included) may be required.
Operating Instructions
1. Recording Video
Press the dedicated Video Button (usually marked with a camera icon) to start video recording. Press it again to stop. The 2.0-inch display will show recording status and allow for local playback.

2. Recording Audio
Press the Audio Button (usually marked with a microphone icon) to start audio recording. Press it again to stop. The LCD screen will display a microphone icon to indicate audio recording is in progress.
3. Taking Photos
Press the Photo Button (usually marked with a camera icon) to capture still images. A capturing sound will be heard.
4. Night Vision
The C8 features automatic infrared night vision. When ambient light is low, the camera will automatically switch to IR mode. You can also manually activate or deactivate night vision through the menu settings.

5. LED and Warning Lights
The camera is equipped with LED and warning lights that can be activated as needed, for example, in emergency situations or to provide visibility.
6. Local Playback & Preview
Use the 2.0-inch display to review recorded videos, photos, and audio directly on the camera. This allows for quick verification of captured media.
7. Data Encryption & Password Protection
To protect your data, you can set a 6-digit password composed of numbers and letters. This prevents unauthorized access, modification, or deletion of your recordings. Access this feature through the camera's menu settings.
8. Motion Detection
Activate motion detection in the settings. The camera will automatically begin recording when movement is detected within its field of view, conserving battery and storage space.
9. Car Dash Cam Mode
The CAMMHD C8 can function as a dash cam. Enable 'Car Dash Cam Mode' in the settings. For optimal use, a compatible car suction cup mount (sold separately) is recommended.
