1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Adler AD 8084 Mini Refrigerator. This portable appliance is designed for both cooling and heating, making it suitable for various uses at home, in the office, or while traveling. With a 4-liter capacity, it is ideal for storing beverages, snacks, cosmetics, or medications. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

The Adler AD 8084 Mini Refrigerator is a compact and versatile appliance featuring both cooling and heating functions. It utilizes a Peltier cell cooling system, making it efficient for its size.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the mini refrigerator from its packaging.
  2. Check for any damage during transit. If damaged, do not use and contact your retailer.
  3. Remove all packing materials, including any internal protective films or inserts.
  4. Place the unit on a stable, flat surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around all sides (at least 10 cm clearance).

3.2 Connecting to Power

The Adler AD 8084 can be powered by either AC (household) or DC (car) power.

For AC (Household) Power:

  1. Ensure the power switch on the rear panel is in the "OFF" position.
  2. Connect the AC power cord to the "AC 220-240V~" input on the rear of the unit.
  3. Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet (220-240V ~ 50Hz).

For DC (Car) Power:

  1. Ensure the power switch on the rear panel is in the "OFF" position.
  2. Connect the DC 12V car adapter to the "DC 12V=" input on the rear of the unit.
  3. Plug the other end of the car adapter into your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter socket.

Note: Do not connect both AC and DC power simultaneously.

4. Operation

4.1 Cooling Function

  1. Connect the unit to the appropriate power source (AC or DC).
  2. Place items to be cooled inside the refrigerator. For best results, pre-chill items if possible.
  3. Set the switch on the rear panel to the "COLD" position. The green indicator light will illuminate.
  4. The unit will begin to cool. The cooling capacity is approximately 18-22°C below ambient temperature.

4.2 Heating Function

  1. Connect the unit to the appropriate power source (AC or DC).
  2. Place items to be heated inside the refrigerator.
  3. Set the switch on the rear panel to the "HOT" position. The red indicator light will illuminate.
  4. The unit will begin to heat. The heating function is suitable for keeping food warm, not for cooking or reheating cold food to high temperatures.

4.3 Switching Off

To turn off the unit, set the switch on the rear panel to the "OFF" position. Unplug the power cord from the unit and the power source when not in use.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the unit from the power source before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  3. Clean the interior with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Rinse with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  4. Ensure no water enters the ventilation openings or electrical components.
  5. The removable shelf and door basket can be washed with warm soapy water and dried completely before reinserting.

5.2 Storage

When storing the unit for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

6. Troubleshooting
