4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
2. Insert the included 18650 battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
3. Screw the tail cap back on tightly to ensure proper contact and water resistance.

4.2 Charging

The WK03 features a convenient USB Type-C charging port. The indicator light on the side switch provides charging status.

1. Locate the USB Type-C port on the side of the flashlight.
2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the flashlight and the other end to a compatible USB power source (e.g., AC charger, power bank, car charger, computer USB port).
3. During charging, the indicator light on the side switch will glow red.
4. Once fully charged, the indicator light will turn green.

5. Operating Instructions

The Wurkkos WK03 is operated via a single side switch, controlling 6 distinct modes.

5.1 Basic Operation

• Turn On/Off: Single-click the side switch to turn the flashlight on or off.
• Mode Cycling: When the flashlight is on, press and hold the side switch to cycle through Low → Medium → High. Release the switch to select the desired brightness level.
• Moonlight Mode: From OFF, press and hold the side switch for 1 second to activate Moonlight mode.
• Turbo Mode: Double-click the side switch from any state (ON or OFF) to activate Turbo mode. Double-click again to return to the previous mode.
• Strobe Mode: Triple-click the side switch from any state (ON or OFF) to activate Strobe mode. Single-click to turn off or double-click to return to the previous mode.

5.2 Lockout Function

To prevent accidental activation, especially when carrying the flashlight in a pocket or bag:

• From OFF, rapidly click the side switch four times to activate lockout mode. The flashlight will flash once to confirm.
• To deactivate lockout mode, rapidly click the side switch four times again. The flashlight will turn on in Moonlight mode.

• Cleaning: Clean the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

• Flashlight does not turn on:

• Light output is dim or flickers:

  • High brightness modes (especially Turbo) generate significant heat. This is normal. The flashlight has built-in temperature regulation to prevent overheating.
  • If it becomes uncomfortably hot, switch to a lower mode.
• Charging indicator not working:
  • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the flashlight and the power source.
  • Try a different USB cable or power adapter.
  • Check if the charging port is clean and free of debris.
