5. Operating Instructions
The eSSL JS-32E allows access through PIN codes, proximity cards, or a combination of both.
5.1 User Management
Refer to the separate programming guide for detailed instructions on adding, deleting, and modifying user PINs and proximity cards. The system supports up to 2000 users.
5.2 Gaining Access
- Using a PIN: Enter your registered PIN code on the keypad and press the '#' key.
- Using a Proximity Card: Present your registered EM card within 3-6 cm of the device's reader.
- Using PIN + Card: Present your registered card, then enter your PIN code and press the '#' key.
Upon successful authentication, the door will unlock for the configured door opening time (0-99 seconds). An audible alert or indicator light will confirm access.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your eSSL JS-32E access control system, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the device surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or excessive moisture.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the device operates within the specified ambient temperature range of -45°C to 60°C and humidity range of 10% to 90% RH.
- Regular Checks: Periodically check all wired connections for security and integrity.

- No Power: Verify that the DC12V power supply is connected correctly and functioning. Check all power cables.
