Setup and Installation

Follow these steps carefully for proper installation. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring.

1. Unpacking and Component Identification

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out to ensure nothing is missing or damaged. The package includes the main base, two pole sections, three lamp heads, and a separate accessory box with hardware and the photocell sensor.

2. Lamp Head Assembly

Each lamp head requires an Edison-style LED bulb (included). Carefully screw the bulbs into the sockets. Ensure the top covers of the lamp heads are securely fastened after bulb installation.

3. Pole Assembly

The lamp post consists of multiple sections. Connect the pole sections by aligning the holes and securing them with the provided screws. The main base pole has pre-drilled holes for attachment. Ensure all connections are snug to maintain stability.

4. Wiring the Lamp Heads and Photocell Sensor

The three lamp heads and the photocell sensor need to be wired together before attaching to the main pole. Refer to the provided wiring diagram for correct connections. All white wires should be screwed together. The three black wires from the lamp heads and the red wire from the photocell should be screwed together. The black wire from the photocell is the main power input.

5. Integrating Wiring into the Pole

Carefully snake all the connected wires through the pole sections. Ensure no wires are pinched or damaged during this process. The wires will exit from the bottom of the main base pole for connection to your AC power source.

6. Base Installation

Use the provided installation template to mark the drilling locations for the anchors on your concrete or stable surface. A hammer drill is required for concrete surfaces. Insert the anchors into the drilled holes. The bell nuts and washers should be positioned correctly to secure the lamp post base firmly to the ground.

7. Final Electrical Connection

Connect the main electrical wires from your power source to the wires exiting the lamp post base. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated with wire nuts. If you do not have existing outdoor electrical wiring, an extension cord can be used, but ensure it is rated for outdoor use and properly protected.

Operating Instructions

The PARTPHONER Lamp Post Light is equipped with a built-in IC sensor for automatic operation. Once properly installed and connected to power, the light will function as follows:

• Dusk to Dawn: The integrated photocell sensor detects ambient light levels. The lights will automatically turn ON when it gets dark and turn OFF when daylight returns.
• No manual operation is required for daily use.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your lamp post light, consider the following maintenance tips:

• Cleaning: Periodically wipe down the lamp post and glass panels with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish or glass.
• Bulb Replacement: If a bulb burns out, ensure the power is off before carefully unscrewing the old bulb and replacing it with a new E26 base LED bulb (maximum 60W equivalent).
• Inspection: Annually inspect all electrical connections and mounting hardware for any signs of wear, corrosion, or loosening. Tighten as necessary.

Troubleshooting

If your lamp post light is not functioning as expected, try the following:

• Lights Not Turning On/Off Automatically: Ensure the photocell sensor is not obstructed by debris, leaves, or other objects. Verify that the sensor is receiving adequate light during the day and is in complete darkness at night.
• No Power: Check your circuit breaker or fuse box to ensure the power supply to the lamp post is active.
• Wiring Issue: A common wiring mistake is incorrectly connecting the photocell. Ensure all white wires are connected together. The red wire from the photocell should connect to the black wires from all the lights. The black wire from the photocell should connect only to the house power.
• Bulbs Not Lighting: Check if the bulbs are screwed in tightly and are not burnt out. Replace if necessary.
• Weather Resistance: While rated IP65 waterproof, ensure all seals and connections are intact, especially after heavy weather.
