1. Gently pull the two halves of the tabletop apart from the center. The table will slide smoothly on its runners.
2. Locate the self-storing leaves underneath the tabletop.
3. Lift one or both leaves and place them into the gap created by pulling the table halves apart. Ensure they are properly aligned and seated.
4. Push the table halves back together until they meet the inserted leaves, creating a continuous surface.

Retracting the Table:

1. Gently pull the two halves of the tabletop apart again.
2. Lift the extension leaves out of the gap.
3. Store the leaves securely in their designated storage area underneath the tabletop.
4. Push the table halves back together until they meet, forming the compact table.
