Safety Information

Setup
Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the BUVAYE Portable Car Jump Starter. Use the provided USB charging cable to connect the device to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, car charger, computer USB port). The digital display will indicate the charging status. A full charge ensures optimal performance and readiness for emergencies.
It is recommended to charge the jump starter every 2-3 months if not used for a long time to maintain battery health.
Operating Instructions
1. Jump Starting a Vehicle
Ensure the jump starter has at least 25% power before attempting to jump start a vehicle.
- Connect the Smart Jump Cable: Insert the blue end of the smart jump cable into the jump starter's port.
- Connect to Car Battery:
- Attach the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the car battery.
- Attach the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the car battery.
The smart jump cable will provide visual and audible feedback if connections are incorrect.
- Start Your Car: Once the connections are secure and the indicator on the smart cable is green, start your vehicle's engine.
- Remove Clamps: After the car starts, immediately remove the clamps from the car battery, then disconnect the smart jump cable from the jump starter.

2. Using the Air Compressor (Tire Inflator)
The digital air compressor can inflate tires and other inflatables up to 150 PSI.
- Connect Air Tube: Screw the air tube securely into the designated port on the jump starter.
- Attach to Tire Valve: Connect the other end of the air tube to the tire valve stem. Ensure a tight seal.
- Set Desired Pressure: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the device to set the desired tire pressure. The digital display will show the current and target pressure.
- Start Inflation: Press the power button to begin inflation. The compressor will automatically stop once the preset pressure is reached.
- Disconnect: Remove the air tube from the tire valve and then from the jump starter.

3. Using as a Portable Power Bank
The jump starter can charge your electronic devices via its USB 3.0 port.
- Connect Device: Plug your device's USB charging cable into the jump starter's USB output port.
- Begin Charging: The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device.

4. Using the LED Flashlight
The integrated 300-lumen LED flashlight offers three lighting modes.
- Activate Light: Press the light bulb button to turn on the constant light mode.
- Cycle Modes: Press the light bulb button again to cycle through strobe light, SOS light, and then off.

Maintenance
- Regular Charging: If the jump starter is not used for a long time, it is recommended to charge it every 2-3 months to keep the battery in a healthy state.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Cleaning: Clean the device with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Air Pump Usage: To prevent overheating, do not use the air pump function continuously for prolonged periods. If the product heats up significantly, allow it to cool down for a few minutes before resuming use. This prevents the activation of high-temperature protection.
