Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. A full charge takes approximately 4-5 hours.
- Connect the included USB charging cable to the charging port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will change or turn off once charging is complete.
2. Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the power/multi-function button (circle icon on top) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible cue or see an indicator light.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the power/multi-function button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible cue or the indicator light turns off.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
Pair your speaker with a Bluetooth-enabled device to stream audio wirelessly.
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and within close proximity to your device.
- The speaker will automatically enter pairing mode when first turned on, or if no device is connected. An indicator light will flash to show it's ready to pair.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
- Search for available devices and select "aMAJOR" from the list.
- Once connected, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation, and the indicator light will become solid.
Operating the Speaker
1. Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the power/multi-function button once.
- Next Track: Double-press the power/multi-function button.
- Previous Track: Triple-press the power/multi-function button.
2. Volume Control
- Increase Volume: Press the '+' button.
- Decrease Volume: Press the '-' button.
3. Stereo Play (True Wireless Stereo - TWS)
You can pair two aMAJOR speakers together for a stereo sound experience.
- Ensure both aMAJOR speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold both the '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until you hear a pairing tone.
- The two speakers will attempt to connect to each other. Once connected, an audible confirmation will sound.
- Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section. Audio will play in stereo across both speakers.
4. Voice Assistant
Activate your device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant) through the speaker.
- Activate Voice Assistant: Press and hold the power/multi-function button for approximately 2 seconds (shorter than power on/off) until you hear a prompt.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents.
- Ensure the charging port is dry before charging.
Water Resistance (IPX5)
The aMAJOR speaker is IPX5 water-resistant, meaning it can withstand splashes and light rain. It is not designed to be submerged in water. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when exposed to moisture.
Storage
Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.
