Maintenance

Draining the Boiler:

Regularly draining the boiler helps prevent mineral buildup and ensures optimal performance.

  1. Turn the boiler off and unplug the unit.
  2. Allow the unit to cool completely. Never attempt to drain a hot or pressurized boiler.
  3. Once cool, carefully remove the pressure safety cap.
  4. Tip the unit upside down over a sink or bucket to drain all water from the boiler.
  5. Replace the safety cap securely.

Cleaning the Soleplate:

The aluminum soleplate is designed to be easy to clean. For minor residue, wipe with a damp cloth when the iron is cool. For stubborn marks, use a specialized iron soleplate cleaner according to its instructions.
