  2. Inspect the appliance for any transport damage. Report any damage immediately to your retailer.

Removing Transit Bolts

Before use, it is crucial to remove the transit bolts located at the rear of the machine. These bolts secure the drum during transport and must be removed to prevent damage during operation.

  1. Locate the transit bolts on the back of the washing machine.
  2. Using a suitable spanner, loosen and remove all bolts.
  3. Insert the plastic caps provided into the holes.

Positioning and Levelling

Place the washing machine on a firm, flat surface. Adjust the adjustable feet to ensure the appliance is perfectly level and stable. An unlevel machine can cause excessive vibration and noise.

Ensure NFC is enabled on your phone and place it near the "Smart Touch" logo on the control panel.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser Drawer

Regularly clean the detergent drawer to prevent detergent residue buildup. Remove the drawer, rinse it under running water, and clean any stubborn deposits with a brush. Reinsert the drawer.

Cleaning the Pump Filter

The pump filter, located at the bottom front of the machine, should be cleaned periodically to remove lint and small objects. This prevents blockages and ensures proper drainage.

  1. Place a shallow container under the filter cover to catch any residual water.
  2. Open the filter cover.
  3. Slowly unscrew the filter counter-clockwise until water starts to drain.
  4. Once drained, fully remove the filter and clean it under running water.
  5. Check the filter housing for any foreign objects.
  6. Screw the filter back in clockwise until tight, then close the cover.
