This manual provides detailed instructions for safe and effective use of your new equipment.

Setup Guide

1. Attaching the Handle

Align the handle with the mounting point on the MS60B LED Video Light. Securely fasten the handle by tightening the screw mechanism. The handle can be angled up to 180° for flexible positioning.

2. Powering the Light

The MS60B supports multiple power options:

AC Power Adapter: For continuous operation, connect the included AC power adapter to the light and a wall socket.
NP-F Batteries: Attach the battery box to the light. Insert one or two NP-F750/NP-F970 batteries (sold separately) into the battery box. Use the provided battery cable to connect the battery box to the light.
V-Mount Battery: For maximum power output, use a V-mount battery (14.4V, sold separately) with the V-mount battery adapter plate and a D-Tap cable (sold separately).

Note: Batteries cannot be charged while being used. Simultaneous use of charging and battery power is not supported.

3. Attaching Light Modifiers (Bowens Mount)

The MS60B features a proprietary NEEWER mount. To use Bowens mount accessories (softboxes, photography umbrellas, beauty dishes), attach the included Bowens mount adapter to the light. Then, mount your desired modifier onto the adapter.

Operating Instructions

The NEEWER MS60B offers three methods of control:

1. Onboard Control Panel

Use the control knobs and buttons located on the back of the light for direct adjustments.

ON/OFF Button: Press to power the light on or off.
INT+ / INT- Knob: Rotate to adjust brightness from 1% to 100%. Press to confirm selection.
SET / B Knob: Rotate to adjust color temperature (2700K-6500K) or cycle through special effects. Press to confirm selection or enter menu.
2.4G/BT Button: Press to activate 2.4G wireless control or Bluetooth for app control.

2. NEEWER App Control (Bluetooth)

Download the NEEWER APP from your smartphone's app store. Enable Bluetooth on your device and pair it with the MS60B. The app allows you to control brightness, color temperature, and access 12 special effects remotely. It also supports OTA firmware upgrades.

3. 2.4G Wireless Control

The inbuilt 2.4G system supports group control of multiple NEEWER LED lights (different models) within 49ft (15m). Set all lights to the same channel (00-99) to control them simultaneously from one unit.

Special Effects

The MS60B includes 12 special effects to enhance creative shooting scenarios. These effects can be accessed and adjusted via the onboard controls or the NEEWER App.

Maintenance

Keep the device dry. Do not touch with wet hands.
Clean the light with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Ensure proper ventilation. The silent cooling fan helps dissipate heat, prolonging the light's lifespan. Do not block the fan vents.
Store the light in a cool, dry place when not in use, preferably in its original protective casing.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
Light does not turn on.	No power supply or low battery.	Check power adapter connection or replace/charge batteries.
App control not working.	Bluetooth not enabled or light not paired.	Ensure Bluetooth is on and pair the device via the NEEWER App.
Light output is dim.	Brightness set too low or using NP-F batteries for maximum output.	Increase brightness. For maximum output, use AC power or a V-mount battery.
Fan noise is noticeable.	Fan operating at higher speed due to heat.	Ensure vents are clear. The fan is designed for silent operation under normal conditions.
