1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the SHARP Universal Travel Adapter. This device is designed to provide convenient power solutions for your electronic devices in over 160 countries. It features an AC socket, three USB-A ports, and one USB Type-C port, allowing you to charge multiple devices simultaneously. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure safe and optimal operation.

2. Product Overview

The SHARP Universal Travel Adapter is an all-in-one solution for your global charging needs. Key features include:

• Worldwide Compatibility: Covers over 160 countries, including US, EU, AU, and UK plug types.
• Smart Fast Charging: Equipped with 1 AC socket, 3 USB-A ports (each 2.4A Max), and 1 USB Type-C port (5V3A) for charging up to 5 devices simultaneously. Total output is 5V/5A.

3. Setup and Plug Deployment

The adapter features integrated sliders to deploy the correct plug type for your region. To deploy a plug:

1. Identify the slider corresponding to the desired region (US, EU, AUS, UK).
2. Gently press the slider inward and push it forward until the prongs are fully extended.
3. To retract the plug, press the slider inward and pull it back until the prongs are fully recessed.

Note: For the UK plug (Type G), a plastic stabilizing piece may eject partway. Ensure it is fully extended for proper use.

4. Operating Instructions

Once the appropriate plug is deployed, insert the adapter into a wall outlet. The adapter is ready to charge your devices.

• AC Socket: Plug in your device's power adapter into the universal AC socket on the front of the travel adapter.
• USB Ports: Connect your USB-powered devices (phones, tablets, smartwatches, etc.) to the 3 USB-A ports or the 1 USB Type-C port.
• You can charge up to 5 devices simultaneously (1 via AC, 4 via USB).

5. Safety Information and Precautions

Your SHARP Universal Travel Adapter is designed with multiple safety features. However, it is crucial to observe the following precautions:

• NOT a Voltage Converter: This adapter does NOT convert electrical output current and voltage. Ensure that all devices you connect have dual or variable-voltage capabilities (100V-250V). Using it with single-voltage devices in an incompatible region may damage your device or the adapter.
• Avoid High-Power Appliances: Do not use this adapter with high-power appliances such as coffee makers, kettles, hair dryers, straighteners, or irons. The adapter supports up to 1500 Watts.
• Built-in Safety Fuse: If an over-current or over-voltage event occurs, the built-in fuse will automatically cut off power to protect your devices. The adapter will reboot and resume operation after a few minutes. No fuse replacement is needed.
• Protection Features: The adapter incorporates Grounded Protection, Short-Circuit Protection, Over-Temperature Protection, Over-Current Protection, Fire Resistance Design, Over-Voltage Protection, and Internal Safety Shutters.
• Keep out of reach of children.

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your travel adapter, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Disconnect the adapter from the power outlet and all devices before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
• Storage: Store the adapter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture when not in use. Ensure all plugs are fully retracted before storage.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect the adapter for any signs of damage, such as cracks in the casing or bent prongs. Do not use if damaged.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your SHARP Universal Travel Adapter, refer to the following common solutions:

• Device Not Charging:
  • Ensure the adapter is fully inserted into the wall outlet.
  • Verify that the correct regional plug is fully deployed.
  • Check if your device's charging cable is properly connected to the adapter's USB port or AC socket.
  • Confirm your device is dual-voltage compatible if using the AC socket in a foreign country.
  • If the adapter has temporarily shut off due to over-current/over-voltage, wait a few minutes for it to reset automatically.
• Adapter Feels Warm: It is normal for the adapter to feel slightly warm during operation, especially when charging multiple devices. If it becomes excessively hot, disconnect it immediately and allow it to cool down. Ensure it is not covered or in an enclosed space.
• Plug Not Deploying/Retracting: Ensure you are pressing the slider inward firmly before pushing or pulling. Do not force the mechanism.
