3. Setup

3.1 Package Contents

3.2 Powering On the Device

3.4 App Installation & Device Registration

1. Download the UbiBot app from your smartphone's app store.
2. Create a new UbiBot account or log in if you already have one.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your GS1-AETH1RS device. You may need to scan a QR code on the device or manually enter its serial number.

3.5 Siren Connection

Connect the siren cable to the designated alarm output port on the GS1-AETH1RS device. The siren will activate based on the alert rules configured in the UbiBot app or web platform.

4.1 Monitoring Data

4.2 Setting Alerts

Configure alert rules to be notified when environmental parameters exceed or fall below predefined thresholds.

1. Open the UbiBot app or web platform.
2. Navigate to your device settings and select 'Alert Rules'.
3. Set desired thresholds for temperature, humidity, or light.
4. Choose your preferred notification methods: Email, App notification, SMS, Voice call, IFTTT, HTTP, or API. The siren will also activate based on these rules.

4.3 Data Access & Export

Historical data is stored in the cloud and on the device's internal memory.

5.1 Cleaning

Wipe the device and sensors with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.

5.2 Battery

5.3 Sensor Care

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Device Not Powering On

• Verify the power adapter is securely connected to the device and a working power outlet.
• Check if the C battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge.

6.2 No Network Connection

• WiFi: Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. Re-enter WiFi credentials in the UbiBot app. Check if the device is within WiFi range.
• Ethernet: Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the device and the router/switch. Check router status.
• Restart the device and your router.

6.3 Inaccurate Readings

• Ensure the device is placed in a location representative of the environment you wish to monitor, away from direct heat sources, cold drafts, or direct sunlight.
• Perform a platform-end calibration via the UbiBot web platform if minor adjustments are needed.
• Compare readings with a known accurate thermometer/hygrometer to confirm discrepancies.

6.4 Alerts Not Received

• Check your alert rule settings in the UbiBot app or web platform to ensure thresholds and notification methods are correctly configured.
• Verify the device has an active network connection.
• For SMS/Voice calls, ensure your account has sufficient credits if applicable.
