Setup

1. Unpacking and Initial Charge:

1. Carefully remove the AULA SC300 mouse from its packaging.
2. Locate the included USB charging cable.
3. Connect the charging cable to the mouse's charging jack (refer to Figure 2 for location).
4. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a computer's USB port for charging. Important: Do not use a phone charger to charge the mouse, as this may damage the battery. Always connect the mouse to a computer for charging.
5. Allow the mouse to charge fully before first use. The charging indicator (refer to Figure 2) will provide status.

2. Wireless Connection:

1. Locate the USB receiver stored in the bottom compartment of the mouse.
2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer (PC, laptop, Mac Book, Android Book, Chrome Book, Ultra Book).
3. The mouse should automatically connect to your computer. No additional drivers are typically required for basic functionality.

Operating Instructions

Button Functions:

• Left Button: Standard left-click function.
• Right Button: Standard right-click function.
• Scroll Wheel: Scrolls content up or down. Can also be pressed for middle-click functionality.
• Forward/Back Keys: Located on the side, these buttons allow for quick navigation (e.g., browsing web pages).
• Double-Click Button: Performs a double-click action with a single press.
• DPI Switch Key: Cycles through the available DPI settings (600, 1000, 1600, 2400, 3200). Press this button to adjust cursor sensitivity on the fly.

DPI Adjustment:

The AULA SC300 mouse offers 5 adjustable DPI levels to match your preference and task requirements. Simply press the DPI switch key (refer to Figure 2) to cycle through the settings: 600, 1000, 1600, 2400, and 3200 DPI. A higher DPI setting results in faster cursor movement.

LED Backlight:

The mouse features a 4-color streamer breathing backlight. This lighting effect operates automatically and does not require additional software for control. Enjoy the visual ambiance during use.

Smart Sleep Mode:

To conserve battery life, the AULA SC300 mouse incorporates an intelligent sleep function. It automatically senses the state of the mouse and adjusts to different sleep modes, extending battery life up to 30 days standby time.

• Level 1 Sleep Mode: Activates 1 second after the mouse stops operating.
• Level 2 Sleep Mode: Activates 1 minute after the mouse stops operating.
• Deep Sleep Mode: Activates 15 minutes after the mouse stops operating.

To wake the mouse from sleep mode, simply move it or click any button.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your mouse. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring no moisture enters the internal components. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Battery Care:

• Always charge the mouse using the provided USB cable connected to a computer's USB port.
• Avoid using phone chargers or other high-power adapters, as this can damage the internal battery.
• Do not expose the mouse to extreme temperatures.
• If the mouse will not be used for an extended period, ensure it is fully charged before storage.

Troubleshooting

• Mouse not responding:
  • Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port on your computer.

  • Try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port.
