3. Installation Guide

Before Installation:

  • Ensure your door thickness and backset measurements are compatible with the lock.

Installation Steps (General):

  1. Prepare the door: Ensure existing holes are correctly sized and positioned.
  2. Install the latch bolt into the door edge.
  3. Mount the exterior assembly, ensuring the spindle and wires pass through the door.
  4. Install the interior mounting plate.
  5. Connect the wire harness from the exterior assembly to the interior assembly.
  6. Attach the interior assembly to the mounting plate.
  7. Install batteries (4 x AA, not included) into the interior assembly.

  1. Add Fingerprint: Access the programming menu using the administrator passcode. Select the 'Add Fingerprint' option. Place the user's finger on the sensor multiple times as prompted until successfully registered.
  2. Add Passcode: From the programming menu, select 'Add Passcode'. Enter a new 6-8 digit passcode, then re-enter to confirm.
  3. Add IC Card: In the programming menu, choose 'Add Card'. Present the IC card to the card reader until it is successfully registered.

Always test newly added credentials immediately to ensure they function correctly.

Unlocking the Door:
