Control Panel Layout:
- Power Button: Turns the unit on or off.

4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the built-in Lithium-Polymer battery. Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN port on the player and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light may change color or turn off, depending on the model. A full charge typically takes several hours.
4.2 Connecting to Power
You can power the unit using the included AC power adapter for home use or the car power adapter for in-vehicle use. Ensure the correct adapter is used for the power source.
4.3 Connecting External Devices (Optional)
The player may include AV IN/OUT ports. Use the supplied AV cable to connect to an external display (e.g., TV) or an external video source (e.g., game console). Refer to the port labels on your device for specific connections.
4.4 Using Earphones
For private listening, plug the included earphones into the headphone jack on the side of the player.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds to turn the player on or off. The screen will illuminate when the device is powered on.
5.2 Inserting a DVD
- Gently open the disc cover.
- Place the DVD disc onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Press down gently on the center of the disc until it clicks into place.
- Close the disc cover firmly.
5.3 Basic Playback
After inserting a disc, the player will typically begin playback automatically. If not, press the Play/Pause (►) button. Use the following controls:
- Play/Pause (►/∥∥): Toggles between playing and pausing.
- Stop (■): Stops playback. Press once to stop, press twice to return to the beginning of the disc.
- Skip (►►/◄◄): Press briefly to skip to the next or previous chapter/track.
- Fast Forward/Rewind (►►/◄◄): Press and hold to fast forward or rewind. Release to resume normal playback.
- Volume (VOL +/-): Adjust the sound level.
5.4 Using the Remote Control
The included remote control provides full functionality from a distance. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the player's IR sensor. Insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control before use.
5.5 Swivel Screen Function
The screen can swivel and fold flat against the base, allowing for various viewing angles or a tablet-like form factor. Gently rotate the screen clockwise or counter-clockwise as desired. Do not force the screen beyond its natural rotation limits.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Unit
Wipe the exterior of the player with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents. Clean the screen gently with a soft, lint-free cloth designed for electronics screens.
6.2 Disc Care
Handle discs by their edges. Keep discs clean and free of scratches. Store discs in their cases when not in use. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe discs from the center outwards if cleaning is necessary.
6.3 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the player in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to fully charge the battery before long-term storage and to recharge it every few months to maintain battery health.
