Setup Instructions
Follow these steps for proper pool assembly and installation:
- Site Preparation: Choose a firm, level surface free of debris. Lay a ground cloth or tarp (not included) to protect the pool liner.
- Frame Assembly: Assemble the metal frame poles by snapping them into place with the provided lock pins. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Liner Installation: Carefully spread the durable 3-ply ToughMesh pool liner within the assembled frame. Ensure the drain plug is securely closed.
- Partial Filling: Begin filling the pool with water. As the water level rises, smooth out any wrinkles in the bottom of the liner.
- SkimmerPlus Filter Pump Installation: Attach the SkimmerPlus SFX330 filter pump to the sidewall of the pool according to the pump's specific instructions. Ensure all hoses are securely connected and clamps are tightened.
- Complete Filling: Continue filling the pool to the recommended water level, typically just below the top rail.

Operating the SkimmerPlus Filter Pump
The SkimmerPlus SFX330 filter pump is designed to keep your pool water clean and clear. It combines a skimmer and a filter pump into one unit.
- The skimmer basket collects larger debris such as leaves and insects from the water surface.
- The Type I filter cartridge captures small particles as water passes through the pump.
- The pump features an automatic timer to operate for a set duration, ensuring consistent filtration without manual intervention.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for extending the life of your pool and ensuring clean water.
- Filter Cartridge Cleaning/Replacement: The Type I filter cartridge should be rinsed daily with a power hose to remove debris. Replace the cartridge every two weeks or sooner if heavily soiled.
- Skimmer Basket Cleaning: Periodically empty the skimmer basket to ensure optimal debris collection.
- Water Chemistry: Regularly test and adjust pool water chemistry (pH, chlorine levels) using appropriate pool chemicals (not included) to prevent algae growth and maintain water quality.
- Draining the Pool: When preparing to store the pool, use the 2-in-1 drainage plug located at the bottom of the pool liner. Unscrew the cap to allow water to drain easily.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Funsicle pool, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Weak Pump Flow: Ensure the filter cartridge is clean and free of debris. Check for any blockages in the hoses or skimmer basket. Verify the pump is properly connected and receiving power.
- Water Leaks: Inspect the pool liner for any punctures or tears. Check all hose connections and the drainage plug for tightness. Ensure the pool is on a level surface, as uneven ground can stress the liner and frame, potentially causing leaks.
- Cloudy Water: This often indicates insufficient filtration or improper water chemistry. Clean or replace the filter cartridge, ensure the pump runs for adequate periods, and test/adjust water chemical levels.
