- Read all instructions carefully before installation and use.
- Ensure the keypad is installed in a location that does not obstruct the gate's movement or pose a tripping hazard.
- Keep batteries out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
- Do not attempt to repair or modify the device yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.
- Ensure the keypad is securely mounted to prevent accidental dislodgement.

5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
The keypad requires 3 AAA batteries for operation. Open the battery compartment on the back of the keypad and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
5.2 Mounting the Keypad
The keypad can be mounted using either the provided double-sided tape or screws. Choose a suitable location near your gate opener, ensuring it is within the 100-foot transmission range and easily accessible.
- Adhesive Mounting: Clean the mounting surface thoroughly. Apply the high-strength double-sided tape to the back of the keypad and firmly press it onto the desired surface.
- Screw-In Mounting: Use the provided bolts and screws to secure the keypad to a wall or post. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and can support the keypad.

5.3 Code Duplication and Password Setting
Follow these steps to duplicate codes from your existing Blütezeit remotes and set your personal password. The keypad cannot directly learn codes from the gate opener itself.

Part 1: Duplicate the codes
- Press "Enter", then press the default password "666666". The device will beep 3 times.
- Long press "▲" and "▼" at the same time to clear the codes. The red signal light will flash.
- Press "▲" on both remotes to duplicate "open"; Press "▼" and "■" one by one to duplicate "close" and "stop".
- Press "Enter" and then wait for it to shut down automatically.
- Test: Press "Enter" and then type in the password "666666" and "▲", "▼", and "■" to test if it works. The signal light will flash.
- Press "Esc" to exit settings, wait for the blue light off.
Part 2: Set your password
- Press "Enter", then press the default password "666666". The device will beep 3 times.
- Long press "Enter" for approximately 5 seconds to enter "password reset" state. The device will beep 5 times.
- Press default password "666666" and the device will beep 3 times.
- Press your NEW password (e.g., 123456). The device will beep 3 times.
- Press AGAIN your new password. The device will beep 5 times.
- Then just wait for the device to be off automatically.
- Test: Press "Enter" and type in your new password. Now the device is unlocked. Press "open", "close", "stop" buttons to test if it works.
Important: Always press "Esc" to exit settings. To control your gate opener, always press "Enter" followed by your password.
6. Operating the Keypad
Once programmed, the keypad allows you to operate your Blütezeit gate opener using your set password.
- Open the protective cover.
- Press the "Enter" button.
- Enter your 6-digit password.
- Press the desired control button: "▲" for open, "■" for stop, or "▼" for close.
- Press "Esc" to exit the operating mode.
The keypad features an LED backlight for easy visibility at night. When a correct code is entered, the device will beep 3 times. If an incorrect code is entered, it will emit a long beep, the backlight will turn off, and then re-light to prompt for the correct password.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the keypad surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the 3 AAA batteries when the keypad's backlight becomes dim or the device fails to respond. Ensure proper battery orientation.
- Protective Cover: Keep the clear protective cover closed when not in use to shield the keypad from environmental elements.
