1. Introduction

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The Sordin MIL CC Ear Muffs require two AAA batteries for operation. Ensure correct polarity during installation.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on one of the ear cups.
  2. Gently open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, aligning them with the positive (+) and negative (-) indicators.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2.2 Headband Adjustment

Adjust the headband to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. The ear cups should fully cover your ears to provide optimal hearing protection and sound amplification.

  • Place the ear muffs over your head.
  • Slide the ear cups up or down along the headband until they fit snugly and comfortably around your ears.
  • Ensure the headband rests comfortably on top of your head.

2.3 Microphone and Radio Connection

The Sordin MIL CC features a boom microphone and a Nexus plug for radio communication. Connect the Nexus plug to your compatible radio device.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

To power on the ear muffs, press and hold the power button located on one of the ear cups until you hear an audible indication. Repeat the process to power off the device.
