Emptying the Waste Bin

The shredder features a 6.6-gallon (25L) pull-out bin with a transparent window, making it easy to monitor the fill level.

  2. Dispose of the shredded material.
  3. Slide the waste bin back into the shredder until it clicks securely into place. The shredder will not operate if the bin is not properly seated.

Clearing Paper Jams

In the event of a paper jam, the shredder will automatically stop. Follow these steps to clear the jam:

  1. Press the reverse button (usually indicated by a reverse arrow icon) to attempt to clear the paper.
  2. If the paper does not clear, unplug the shredder from the power outlet.
  3. Open the top cover of the shredder to access the shredding mechanism. This design allows for easy removal of jammed paper.
  4. Carefully remove any visible paper fragments from the cutting blades. Use caution as blades are sharp.
  5. Close the top cover, plug the shredder back in, and try operating it again.
