1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Battery and SD Card Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the camcorder.
  2. Insert the provided Lithium Polymer battery, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery compartment cover.
  3. Locate the SD card slot, usually near the battery compartment or on the side. Insert the 32GB SD card until it clicks into place.
  4. It is recommended to format the SD card before first use via the camera's menu settings.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

To power on the camcorder, open the LCD screen. To power off, close the LCD screen or press and hold the power button.

4.2 Basic Recording and Photo Capture

  1. Ensure the camcorder is in the desired mode (Video or Photo) using the 'MODE' button.
  2. Press the 'REC' button to start video recording. Press again to stop.
  3. In Photo mode, press the 'PHOTO' button to capture a still image.

4.3 Zoom Function

Use the 'W' (Wide) and 'T' (Telephoto) buttons to adjust the 18X digital zoom. Press 'W' to zoom out and 'T' to zoom in.

4.5 Wi-Fi Connection and App Usage

  1. Download the "Hello Cam" app from your device's app store (Android/iOS). A QR code for the app download is available on the camera's screen when Wi-Fi is enabled.
  2. On the camcorder, press the 'WIFI' button to activate Wi-Fi. The screen will display the SSID and password.
  3. On your smartphone/tablet, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the camcorder's SSID using the provided password.
  4. Open the "Hello Cam" app. You can now remotely view, capture images, record videos, and transfer files to your mobile device.

4.6 IR Night Vision

5.1 Charging Batteries

Use the provided dual battery charger and USB power adapter to charge the Lithium Polymer batteries. Ensure the batteries are inserted correctly into the charger. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status.

5.2 Transferring Files

Connect the camcorder to your computer using the USB cable. On the camcorder screen, select "MSDC" (Mass Storage Device Class) to access your files directly. You can then drag and drop files to your computer.

5.3 Formatting SD Card

To format the SD card, navigate to the camera's menu settings, find the "Format" option, and confirm. Formatting will erase all data on the card, so back up important files first.
